Job Details
Responsibilities
- Consults with manufacturing staff regarding issues with production processes.
- Evaluates and studies processes to identify areas where improvements can be made.
- Conducts follow-up experiments to meet process objectives.
- Works with manufacturing or quality assurance departments to generate product specifications, operating procedures, or user manuals.
- Reviews manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Records results of experiments in database and maintains database for future access.
- Establishes method for transferring processes from laboratories to manufacturing production.
- Acts as the Supervisor to the Process Engineer
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering or related field required.
- Extensive knowledge of chemistry.
- Ability to process oral and written information effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with scientific computer software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
