TimaCal® as a Supplement For Calcium Nitrate

TimaCal® combines 10.7% calcium with the patented Adur Complex. The Adur complex is our patented plant extract technology that increases the uptake and flow of calcium, improves plant health and promotes fruit finish. This technology can be used to supplement and boost transportation of calcium from roots up for other Ca sources such as calcium nitrate. The Adur Complex works to promote an Auxin/Cytokinin ratio that increases the proliferation of new roots with more “hunger” for calcium absorption capacity than the old roots, which also have an increased ability to “sink” calcium toward areas that need it most – young fruit and fruit that is close to finishing.

Plant City Injection Case Study

In the spring of 2021, we were able to collaborate with several growers who use supplemental calcium sources to help drive down their volume of nitrogen throughout bloom and fruit set. This is one way that growers can best focus on “growing the fruit and not the plant”. We were able to test TimaCal® by injecting at a half-rate compared to another supplemental calcium source to see what the technology within the product could offer to help move more calcium from the roots up.
